Registration Ongoing for Language Courses at A&M International

For those interested in taking courses in foreign language, English as a Second Language (ESL) and Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) preparation, registration is ongoing through Jan. 11 at Texas A&M International University's International Language Institute. Late Registration will continue through Jan. 16 .

Classes in Beginning French and Beginning Spanish will be held Jan. 15-May 9 and hours are 7:30 -10 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuition is $485 and books are not included.

Intensive, morning ESL courses will be offered in six levels from Jan. 14-March 8. Each level consists of two sections: a listening, speaking, grammar section and a reading and writing section. Class hours are 8:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Monday-Friday and tuition is $880 without books.

Semi-intensive, evening ESL courses will also be offered in six levels from Jan. 14-May 10. Levels may consist of two sections: a listening, speaking and grammar section and a listening, speaking, grammar, and reading as well as writing section. Class hours are 7:30 -10 p.m. Monday and Wednesday or Monday-Thursday, depending on the class and level. Tuition is $485 for one section or $880 for two sections.

The Advanced TOEFL Preparation course will be held Jan. 14-Feb. 28 from 1:30 -3:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Tuition is $275 and does not include books.

Regular Registration for Spring I Session at the International Language Institute will be held Jan. 2-11.
