A&M International Slates Workshops for ESL Teachers

Texas A&M International University's International Language Institute is conducting pre-registration through June 25 for two workshops designed for primary and secondary English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers.

The workshops, titled "Communication in the ESL Classroom," will include the following presentations: "Sing a Song for Learning," "Getting the Message Across - Writing," "Word by Word - Expanding the ESL Vocabulary," and "Playful Learning - Games in the Classroom."

Each participant will be granted Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and a certificate upon completion.

Both workshops will be held at A&M International. The workshop for primary ESL teachers will be held on Thursday, July 8 from 1 - 5 p.m. The workshop for secondary ESL teachers will be held Friday, July 9 from 1 - 5 p.m.

Workshop fee is $25 per person if payment is received on or before June 25.

After June 25, workshop fee is $35 per person.

Registration and payment processing may be completed at ILI offices located in the University's Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library, suite 214.
