Early Admissions
Be guaranteed a spot at Staggs Academy your Junior year if you join as an Early Scholar. Remain in good standing and maintain a 3.0 University GPA for guaranteed admissions.
Staggs Early Scholar Admissions*
Step 1: Meet Eligibility
- Be a Texas Resident
- Passed TSIA Reading/Writing and Math
- Be a Rising Freshman or Rising High School Sophomore
- Minimum high school GPA of 85 or 3.0
Step 2: Submit Early Scholar Application

Step 3: Submit Transcript and concurrent Authorization form to
Step 4: Submit Apply Texas dual credit application with guidance from Academy staff.
Step 5: Register for classes with Staggs Academy staff.
