In order to make use of TAMIU's large format printer, the requestor must be able to provide a university's account number. If the print will mention TAMIU, either in name or logo, they must be first approved by the Office of Public Relations/Marketing/Information Services.

Format files must be submitted either in jpg or pdf. The files must be created to the desired printed size to avoid pixelation issues. For example, if the request is for a 24" x 36" sandwich board, the file must be created in a 24" x 36" size.

The largest size available to print is 54" width.

The large format printing prices vary depending on the size of the prints and material. For exact/estimated pricing, please have the desired measurements and materials in mind ready and contact us.

We have a vast variety of materials in stock. Our most popular items are weather resistant vinyl (sandwich board), poster paper, photo paper and mesh banner. Since each project is different, we recommend contacting us in order to point to a material that will work best.

If students need access to our large format printer, the project would have to be sponsored by a professor or a department and charged to a university's account number. Please be aware that the file must be created accordingly, submitted in the right format and be ready to print. If the project is needed to be reimbursed, that process would be done through the Business Office. For more information about reimbursing into an account number, please contact the Business Office.

Large format printing is a lengthy process. Please give us at least two business days in order to complete a project. Also, be aware that depending on our work load or due to special university projects we might take longer. We recommend planning projects with enough time in order to give us time to complete the project with a high quality product.
