TAMIU Athletic Compliance

Mission:
The Athletic Compliance Office--through leadership, education, and guidance--ensures knowledge of and compliance with requirements of the NCAA Division II, the Lone Star Conference, and the University by the athletics community and various other constituencies of the University.

Purpose:
The purpose of the Athletic Compliance Office is to further the educational mission of TAMIU by developing the student-athlete as a total individual and by encouraging a collegiate experience that promotes scholarly achievement, athletic excellence, fair play, sportsmanship, and collective responsibility. It is by way of this purpose that the office, along with the University as a whole, celebrates the success of our student-athletes to promote pride, enthusiasm, and dedication among faculty, staff, students, alumni, and the greater Laredo community.
